Welcome to A Bowl Full of Learners
I started this blog to create a space where learning, emotional balance, and nourishment go hand in hand—not just for our children, but for the ever-evolving humans raising them.
With four bright, beautiful little ones at home, homeschooling is our everyday rhythm. It’s messy, meaningful, and full of unexpected lessons.
Each day brings new discoveries, and every season offers something worth sharing. Whether you’re deep into homeschooling, just beginning to explore it, or simply seeking enriching moments beyond the classroom—I’m so glad you’re here.
As a registered nurse, I’ve seen firsthand the power of prevention. I believe it begins at home. It starts with the meals we serve, the habits we model, and the values we teach.
When I stepped into homeschooling, I realized something profound—education, social-emotional growth, and nutrition aren’t separate. They’re deeply connected.
What we feed our children fuels how they learn.
What we role model shapes how they grow.
And what we teach influences how they show up in the world.
But this journey? It’s no small thing. It’s beautiful and exhausting, grounding and stretching. It’s a balancing act—feeding little bodies, expanding curious minds, and nurturing big emotions—while growing ourselves right alongside them.
This blog is my open hand to anyone walking a similar path. Here, you’ll find what’s worked for us, what we’re still learning, and what I hope will uplift and support you. From simple, nourishing meals to hands-on homeschool ideas, from social-emotional learning to everyday encouragement—it’s all here, poured from the heart.
I truly believe this. When we nourish our children well—with food, with learning, and with love—we are raising the humans this world deeply needs.
We are all learning here.
Thanks for being here. Let’s grow together.
